A deep cleaning is not a regular cleaning — it is a full reset of your home, and the price reflects that. A 2-bedroom deep cleaning in Brooklyn takes more hours than a weekly visit, covers things a standard clean never touches, and carries a different price tag. This guide walks through what drives that price, what add-ons cost, how frequency changes the rate if you bundle it with recurring regulars, and the one question you should always ask before booking: "What is excluded?" If the answer is "nothing," you are probably getting a surface job, not a deep one.
Deep cleaning vs regular cleaning — why the price is different
A Regular Cleaning maintains a home that is already in decent shape — dust surfaces, vacuum floors, clean bathrooms, wipe counters. A Deep Cleaning is a reset: everything a regular clean does, plus inside the kitchen cabinets, behind the refrigerator, inside the oven, inside the fridge, every window track, every baseboard, every vent cover, every ceiling corner, behind and under furniture, the walls and doors, the grout in the bathrooms, and the inside of every closet. It is a full-day service. A studio or 1-bedroom deep cleaning takes our team four to six hours. A 2-bedroom runs six to eight hours. A 3-bedroom or larger can take two teams a full day. The price difference between a regular and a deep is not a markup — it is more hours, more attention, and more supplies.

What drives the cost — size, condition, and extras
Three variables determine the final number on your deep cleaning quote:
- Square footage and room count. A 1-bedroom, 1-bath takes four to six hours. A 3-bedroom, 2-bath with a den, home office, and dining room takes eight hours or more. The base price grows with the size of the space.
- Condition. A home that gets regular maintenance cleanings needs less deep work than a home that has not been touched in six months. We quote honestly based on what we see — contact us for pricing on your specific home.
- Add-ons. Inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, inside cabinets, window washing (interior and exterior), laundry service, and carpet shampooing are extras. Each add-on adds 30 to 90 minutes to the visit. We list every add-on in your quote so nothing is a surprise.
Not sure which add-ons you need? Browse our FAQ page for common questions, or call us to walk through it.
Seasonal and location factors
Deep cleaning demand spikes in spring (post-winter reset) and late fall (pre-holiday preparation). During those months, teams book out further and rates may be slightly higher due to demand. Book at least one to two weeks ahead during spring and fall seasons to secure your preferred date.
Location matters too — Manhattan and San Francisco tend to run at the higher end of the range, while Queens, Brooklyn, and parts of inland California typically sit at mid-range. We serve all of these areas and price honestly by location. Check our service areas to see if we cover your neighborhood.
What is included in every deep cleaning — and what is not
A standard deep cleaning from 3 Sisters Services includes:

- Cleaning inside and outside all kitchen cabinets
- Behind and under kitchen appliances (fridge, stove, dishwasher)
- Inside the oven, stovetop, and range hood — degreased
- Inside the refrigerator — shelves, drawers, exterior
- All baseboards, door frames, and window sills wiped
- Windows cleaned on the interior side
- Walls spot-cleaned for smudges and marks
- All bathrooms scrubbed from top to bottom — tile, grout, fixtures
- All vents and air returns cleaned
- Behind and under all movable furniture
- Ceiling corners and light fixtures dusted
Services excluded unless added on: exterior window washing, carpet shampooing, interior of wall ovens or built-in microwaves, furniture assembly, and biohazard cleanup. We will always tell you what is excluded before you book so there are no surprises on cleaning day.
How to get an accurate quote for your home
An honest quote starts with accurate information from you. When you reach out, tell us:
- Square footage and number of rooms. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and total approximate footage.
- Condition. Is it a maintained home that needs a seasonal reset, or a home that has not been deep cleaned in a year or more? We do not judge — we just need to know to send the right team and the right time estimate.
- Any add-ons you want. Oven, refrigerator, windows, carpet, laundry — let us know upfront and the quote is final.
Call (657) 737-7171 or fill out our booking form with those details. We reply with a clear, itemized quote the same business day — no obligation, no bait-and-switch.
